Oct 4, 2007-Club Meet Minutes
Hello Everyone,
We had our monthly meeting at Denny's tonight.
Only three Club Officers present (Chuck, Jerry & Dick), Gerry is out of town on business and Tony is off in Europe to check out some racing events
(lucky guy).
We talked mostly about the upcoming EmpireZ 1st Annual Car Show hosted by Corona Nissan.
We have many sponsors lined up already and we talked about finding ways to obtain goodies for our "Goodie Bag" that will be handed out to all show
entrants. So far, looks like we may have a pretty good turn out. We certainly hope so. 
We will certainly need help from as many members as possible for running the show, helping park cars, etc. Empire Z Members, Please plan on attending
to help whether or not you enter a car in the show.
Trophies have been picked out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. These will be unusual prizes, not the standard el-cheapo trophies most car events give
out.
The evening was a bit windy and quite chilly. We had a total of 28 Z cars turn out for the meeting which included 10 - 350Zs and a few folks in their
daily drivers. Seems like we are getting more and more of the 350s joining us, which is, of course, Great !! 
We handed out Flyer/Registration Forms for the Car Show to all those present.
Charles and Anna Park from Powertrix, our best sponsor, drove up from San Diego to join us, again. We really appreciate them taking time from their
busy schedule to participate in our meeting and drive up from San Diego (makes it a late night for them getting home).
Charles stated that he will have a "Special Prize" for the Car Show and will have all of his products on display for your enjoyment and inspection.
Of course, they will be available for purchase.  He also said he will
have some "Special Prices" for the event. Can't get any better than that !

Another note about the Car Show. Please get your Registration Form in by November 3rd with your T-Shirt size. We need advance notice to get the
T-Shirts ordered. We may not have your size available if your Registration Form is very late. There is a "fill-in" version of the Registration
Form available on-line here.
I left about 9:30pm, but there were still many folks enjoying each others company and talking the "Z" stuff.
Hope to see everyone next month on November 1st for the next Club Meeting.
