Sept 6, 2007 Club Meet Minutes
It's official, we will hold our first Car Show on Saturday Dec 1, 2007 at Corona Nissan. Details are still being put together but we will have major
sponsors attend the show. Confirmed attendees are Powertrix, Stillen and Motorsport. A big thanks to Dick, Chuck and Bill for pushing this topic
enough to finally making it happen. We will need everyone's help. We will need help with setup during the day of the show as well as help soliciting
for donations from businesses for our "goodie gab" that we plan to give away to every car entry. The show will be a bargain. For $25, you get the
car show entry, a goodie bag, t-shirt and "FREE FOOD"!!! San Diego Z club is pledging 10 cars and I'm sure the other local Z clubs will come out as
well. Please come out and show your support!. Contact any board member for more info.
The evening itself was great. With the weather finally back where it should be, people were eager to bring out their Z's tonight. As of 9pm, we had 8
hot looking 350's , 6 Z32's, 2 - 240's, 1 - 280z and 1-z31. We also had a nice supporting cast of members wearing their daily drivers.
Events:
Sept 8, 2007-Foothill Festival of Cars in La Crescenta (west of Pasadena). This is for all kinds of cars (muscle, trucks, off road, custom and misc
(where we fall into).
