July 5, 2007 Club Minutes
It was a beautiful night out. We didn't have as many cars as expected, but given the holiday was yesterday, it wasn't too bad. Overall, we had 13
Z's show up and 5 additional members in their daily drivers. Everyone came with a person or two so our body count was pretty high. We easily had 30
people.
People stuck around pretty late. I left at 10:30 and everyone was still around enjoying the nice weather.
There was a lot of interest in organizing a Fall car show in the Hooters parking lot. Dick and a few other members talked to Hooters and the news was
positive. We just need to get our dates together and approach them again with our plans.
We also covered the annual picnic which is next month on August 12th in Riverside. Several members recommended we put a flyer together to mail out to
everyone and encourage participation. I will take on this task.
Big surprise today. We had one of the original founding members (Bruno) come back after a 5+ year absence. Bruno has a super clean black Z32 NA.
Welcome back Bruno!
Lastly, we also covered that one of our sponsors, AMZ has gone out of business. We recommended all members in search of aftermarket parts to contact
Charles of Powertrix.
