Hunting?

I hope this is the right spot to post this, Jerry! There isn't exactly an off-topic/lounge area...

I was just wondering if any members do any hunting of any kind? I'm going pheasant hunting in Riverside County in November if anyone is interested!

*edit* Did I miss this part of the forum? Did it just appear? Or am I going crazy???? Jerry?

What kinda guns do you own, Jerry! I never realized that you were into, guns!

I just picked up a 1905 Hopkins & Allen SxS Shot-gun at the Gunshow the other day... can't wait to take some pheasant with it!

Oh BTW: I own a Turkish Mauser and a RUGER New Vaquero SA in 45 LC besides my H&A Shotgun... I used to own: Winchester Mod 70 in 270, Remington 700 in 308 and 300 Win.Mag., German Mauser 98K, Russian SKS, and a Russian Mosin Nagant 91/30 PU Sniper Rifle from WWII... unfortunately I lost all of them in a fire around '99. I used to hunt alot (ever since I was a small boy with my dad) and became very discouraged and lost interest in all things guns/hunting up until now. Now the ball is rolling and I have bought three guns in the past four months!!!!

I didn't do any hunting growing up, and I'm from Alabama. Just plinking once in a great while with my uncle's .22 rifle.

Even though I was a cop for 21 years in the Air Force, I never owned a gun until 1992. Then I started buying them - here's the list:

12 ga. Remington model 1100 semi-auto shotgun, synthetic stock - 8 round tube

I have not done any hunting (except for fish :tumble: ) but do have a few hunting rifles.

G-dang! Would have never thought you guys were gun aficionados. I'm building a warehouse out in Florida and they just passed a law (similar to Las Vegas) where you can carry loaded guns for personal protection. That's scary.
