What should a 300zxTT be priced at when its salvaged. The car im looking at looks pretty clean but im going to see it in person today. Im also wondering what problems I should look for.
There are no pricing range on salvaged cars. Because damages vary.
In my opinion. I don't recommend ever buying a salvaged vehicle because there will be potential more problems with the car and additional cost for
you. You will also have a very difficult time if you ever wanted to sell it.

Cons
I agree, difficult to sell. And from what my friend tells me, insurance can be a little expensive due to the fact that things can go wrong with the car that can cause car accidents on the road.
alright well right now im off to go check out a Z in colton. this guys dad bought it from an auction but the son doesnt really know much about cars.
so im trying to go as low as i can once i see the car. maybe carfax it, and go through the history with his dad. its a nice red 300zxTT
edit:/
alright so i checked out the car. this history of it is that it was crashed on the rear before but the owners fixed it. car runs strong. he's had it
for 3 years. crack in windshield. crack in the 300zx tail light in the rear. front tires are kinda bald. said he had a power steering problem but
fixed it.timing belt was changed in '99, i saw the tag. im in love with the car but i wanna kno more about it so im trying to get a carfax on it

Take a magnet to the rear end and make sure that it isn't 27 lbs of bondo.
haha. im hopin powerzlide comes back so he can help me check out this car
If you test drive it, take it above 80mph. Sometimes accident cars don't tend to show their weaknesses at low speeds but at high speeds, a lot of things become apparent (steering, vibrations....)
i did. no vibrations.. just acceleration. not used to the turbos so after 80 i took it down. the guy showed me its speed and went 100mph+ i was gonna have a heart attack aha. but then again that just shows he abuses the car a bit. so yeah. i need to come up with a reasonable low price
