Did a little Mountain Cruise of my own...
As some of you know I was planning on going to the drags yesterday but for some reason my car wouldn't start. Blah-blah-blah... so I finally got her
running. I was pretty bummed out because I was really looking forward to the drags.
So later I go to my mom's for a BBQ and me and my bro, who has an FC RX7 Turbo-II, were talking about heading out to the mountains for some
"spirited" driving. We always used to drive out there even back when I had my 240SX... and since I'm moving to Arizona I probably won't get a
chance to go for quite awhile. I figured why not? Let's hit the Cali Hills one more time. These are some pix I took while up there today in the
morning:

It's good to know I'll be missed! I'll be sure to visit and come to some meets when I can...
Thanks. Yeah. I don't think I remember how to use the gallery function... but you can move them there if you like.

It was great fun! Made up a little for me missing the drags.
Yes. Another one before the weather gets nasty would be good for the club! Too bad I won't be able to make it out... I won't make this month's meet

It's always fun to go cruise the mountains! I miss those days! One day i'll be good to go again! That reminds me, here's a picture I took on one
mountain. The tire marks you see are mine. I spun out coming out of an S-curve that downsloped, doing between 70 and 75 MPH. I hit the curb and
bounced off. Luckily, the only damage to the car was a scratch on the front lip. That cross wasn't there when it happened, I guess he wasn't so
lucky. RIP.
