Reverse light not working

My reverse lights on my 5spd aren't working. At first it was random, then they just completely stopped working. The bulbs are good. The wires seem to be fine, visually. I have fun getting out of my driveway on my busy street, people don't know I'm trying to back out.
It's frustrating! :banghead:
I'm wondering, is this something that can easily be fixed, or is this something complicated that I'll never get to?

You could try cleaning the sockets where the bulbs mount.

Check to see if there is any corrosion in them (chalky or greenish color). Lightly sand the walls and connector in the sockets. If the bulbs are nasty, chalky or greenish in color (on the metal part of the bulbs), sand them too.

Put some dialectic grease in the bulb sockets. You can get dialectic grease at any auto parts store.

Hope this helps.

Jerry
