I hope to be able to make it.
My 2+2 is still down with a water leak. Max Ramirez is supposed to come to my house this week-end to check it out and hopefully fix it. I think it
is the water pump again
This morning when getting ready to go to work, fired up the TT and all was o.k. for 15 seconds, then she started running really rough. Felt like it
was only running on 3 cylinders and my check MyISAM light came on. So, I did'nt drive it to work today.
Wasn't able to check anthing out other than to check if any wires were loose. Found nothing. Sucks
With my work schedule, putting in 11.5 hours a day because of drive time, don't know if I'll be able to do any trouble shooting before the
meeting.
So, I'll proably be there in the wife's LHS Chrysler or the old Ford Escort.

Well, I didn't make that last meeting - worked late at the day job and couldn't get down there
Both my Zs have been down for the past month. My TT sprunk a leak in the heater core - that's going to be a hell of a job to fix.
My 1990 NA sprung a water leak a month ago and never could figure where it was coming from. There was one stubborn bolt on the left side timing belt
cover I couldn't get off. Got some help this last week-end from a kid who works for the local Nissan Dealer here in Victorville. He got it off.
Turns out it was my water pump (again). Just replaced it in Sept. I won't name who fixed it last time (I just watched and helped a little), but he
left part of the old gasket on the MyISAM block - that's why it started leaking so soon. Sucks to do that job twice in 6 months.
Anyway, my NA is back on the road, so I hope to make this month's meeting on March 2nd.
See ya'll there.

That really sucks about your water pump. I just did the 60k on my TT and I couldn't believe how involved it was to do this service (6 hours). It
ended up being really expensive because I had to replace all 3 tensioners instead of just 1 that the 120k kit comes with. I also recall Seb
(SpecialtyZ) working for 15-20 minutes scrubbing off every bit of the old gasket from the water pump. Didn't make sense at the time, but it sure does
now.
I have one more visit with them tomorrow to see if I can finally fix my vibration in the rear. I should make it back in time for the meet.

Yes, I bet it was expensive. My local Nissan dealer charges $82.00 a hour for labor. I just can't afford to pay rates like that - would have been
$492.00 just for the labor
Hope you get your ride back in time to make the meet.

They are great guys. They are very open about sharing everything they know. Unlike other cocky mechanics, I never feel like I am being talked down to
with them. The addition of Dean has been great.
The driveshaft fixed only part of my problem. The rest of the vibration is due to bad rear diff. bushings which I will do in 6-8 weeks after I can
build my wallet up again. Sadly, I was adding up my receipts today and I found that as of today, I have now spent more on my mods + maintenance than
what I paid for the car. Oh well??

O.K. Guys - who's comin' to the July Monthly Club Meeting?
I'll be there. I'll be driving a different "Z" car.
Just bought another one on Monday, 3 July. That makes three Zs for me now.
Two of them will be for sale very soon.
Let's have a good turn out for the meeting.

It's actually kind of a funny story - so, I'll save the story for later with photos and just give the essential information now.
It's a 1990 Artic White Twin Turbo, charcoal cloth interior, bone stock except for HKS Turbo Timer. I picked it up in Las Vegas on Monday. Odometer
reading = 22,860
It still smells new
