December 2014 - Updates
Dear Empire Z Members,
This has been a great year for Empire Z. In April, we passed our 10-year mark as an official nonprofit. We had strong turnouts at our monthly meets
throughout the year and set a record in September with 35 Zs! We also set a record with 82 registered cars at our 8th Annual Car Show at Nissan of San
Bernardino in October. In addition, we have welcomed several new Z enthusiasts and currently have a total of 73 members and associates.
C&C&C&C - This Saturday (12/20) is shaping up to be a great morning. By all accounts, this will be the penultimate meeting of Cars and
Coffee in Irvine at its current location, so it is likely to get an even better turnout than the regular amazing display of classics, imports, and
exotics! From there, Group Z is planning a cruise through Santiago Canyon with the final destination being Motorsport Auto, which will have more
coffee, donuts, and a raffle. More info at https://www.facebook.com/events/1553813508187253/
Motorsport Auto - MSA has always supported Empire Z's car shows and offers our members a 10% discount. They also host one of the premier Z events in
the country, the West Coast Nationals held at the end of April. This Saturday will be a good opportunity to pick up some presents for your Z. Check
them out at http://zcarparts.com/
Blue Plates - Only two weeks left to apply for the California Legacy License Plate program for 1969 - 1987 cars. More info at https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/legacyplates/index
Track Day - Extreme Speed will be at Willow Springs on Dec. 27-28. $90 gets you on the Streets of Willow track for the day and timing. All levels,
including instruction for beginners. More info at http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=25107
