February 2014 Meeting Notes

We would like to thank everyone who came out to the meet on February 6. Nice turnout for a wet night! We had 13 Zs representing 5 generations, a GT-R,

Powertrix Tech Day - on 2/22, we are meeting up with ZCSD at the Powertrix R&D facility in San Diego. The proposed plan is to have the tech
session at 10:30, go to lunch around noon, and then head to the San Diego Auto Museum with ZCSD after lunch. Should be a great day. Please reply if
interested. Note: the demo cars will be a Z32 and 370Z, but there will be info applicable for all generations and a Q&A session. Check out all of

Trivia - Empire Z would like to congratulate Charles P. for winning a special edition of Nissan Sport "40 Years of the Z" for answering the
following trivia question. Who won the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, and 1st in Class at 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Z32 in 1994? This
impressive feat was accomplished 20 years ago by Steve Millen, the winningest driver in IMSA GTS history, and founder of the popular after-market
parts company, Stillen. He also worked with Nissan to put out the 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Z32 TT SMZ, featuring 365 hp, larger wheels,
brakes, upgraded suspension, and body work.
March - March begins the new year for Empire Z. Annual dues of $35 will be collected ($10 for Associates), but if you attend the events and/or take
advantage of the sponsor discounts, the membership will more than pay for itself. This is also the time for our annual elections. If anyone is
interested in running for a position, please reply.

ZCCM - Issue 5 of the Z Car Club Magazine was distributed to those who subscribed. $15 will get you 6 bimonthly issues!
