Lol. I remember that. Good thing we had the e-z up. I've never seen so many people under one of those things in my life.

I hope to have my Z running or at least own another Z by that time! I'm a probable attendee! :ninja:

It will be a really good turnout. I wonder if Jerry got his tranny fixed on the NA? Maybe he's driving the TT down.

Nope, Sadly, I'm driving a '95 Ford Escort right now.

Haven't found an auto transmission for my NA as of yet - 3rd and 4th gears went away, just revs up after 2nd gear.

My TT is still down with needing a heater core replacement. At least I got started on replacing the heater core in the TT. Hopefully everything will go o.k. and I'll be back on the road soon in the TT.

Really sucks having two Z cars and can't driver either one of them.

Jerry

^sucks^

Spyder Z 15 - 4/11/2006 at 07:46

^sucks more^

Snapped timing belt = :mad::flaming::ticking:

jmallard - 4/11/2006 at 19:45

No more sucking for now :yahoo:

My Nissan mechanic finished my TT today and the new heater core is installed. :yelclap:

Now I got heat and my TT back on the road. We did it without taking out the whole dash too.

Jerry

Awesome. You'll have to tell us how you did it because I know my 17 year old Z will need it soon enough.

Just do a search on 300zxclub.com for "heater core".

That's where I found the instructions and I think I found more on tt.net.

It should be easier on a 1990 because the hard pipes that are on the 1994 are different than a 1990. The ones on the 1990 are easier to move out of the way.

It was still a hard job and not for an old guy like me to do all the twisting and turnnig you have to do under the driver's side of the dash - but better than removing the whole dash. Glad I was able to pay my young Nissan mechanic friend a reasonable amount to get the job done.

jmallard - 4/27/2006 at 18:39

Last word off the 300zxclub forum,

Quote:
Empire to meet at Dennys at 6:45am and depart at 7am and should arrive at Hooters (to meet LAZ32 Club) around 7:45am

I forgot to register but the Motorsport site says you can pay up until 10AM.

Spyder Z 15 - 4/28/2006 at 08:00

I lucked out. It's $20 at the door for just the car show. I registered about 3 days ago. I did let them know that Empire Z is coming with about 30 people. They told me that they didn't think it'd be a problem, but they would call me if it was. I haven't got a call so I assume all is well. See everyone there with my 2+2 that was in a minor accident last week. Only messed up paint on the front bumper and I need to adjust the position of the headlight.

jmallard - 4/30/2006 at 23:07

I took 108 photos today at the Motorsport Car Show.

Just finished getting them all resized.

I will post them tomorrow in the Photo Galley.
