I for one think this would benefit the club (will give us the chance to shine and possibly bring in more members, via readers of this mag) and it would be a nice 'plus' for the existing/future members to get a magazine with membership dues. Just a thought... maybe one of our officers will look into it and we can discuss?

I'll check with Tony again on this one. Even with the discount, it does take a pretty good chunk of the membership dues. We'll check into it some more.

You could raise the dues to include it. I don't think many people would have a problem with that.

I think that the Mag should be a good hook for future members. I for one don't have a problem with a Due increase to get the mag.

I would like to test Jorge's theory on the weekend meets. I know about 6 Z owners that dont have time on Thursdays to join us.


We have a few members from the L.A. club that come and join us for our meets. We should get with them and make a meet. I have seen a couple club events in Arizona (DZN) with guys from Nevada (SCZ)meet. I've also been to a meet were Inland Valley and Desert Z have met. I think to get more members in the club we need to participate with other clubs. I think that could help our club out. My 2cents

Thanks for backing me up! I think its a great idea too (mag and weekend meet). I really hope we can get a few guys interested in a weekend meet! Of course I wouldn't rule out the Thursday meets... two meets are better than one! :wink1:
