Hah, I only saw this post at 7:18am on Saturday!
So this one's way overdue. Anyway, it was great to meet you all. Didn't get around to sayin' G'day to everyone, but it was fun to be in the company of other Z owners. Unfortunately it put my red '88 to shame. It's gonna be a few more meets before I bring my A-game...patience and money I keep sayin'.

Although there was also a cool looking white Z31 that showed up later on that evening, so it was good to see at least another one. I liked what the guy did to his, but I can't for the life of me remember his name, or if he's on this message board yet. Z DRFTR were the plates.

Great to meet you Jerry! And Chuck, I remember your white Z32 from the last time I was there, over a year ago, so things were looking familiar.

There are more members in the club with Z31s, they just didn't come to this particular meeting. I'm sure you will meet more of the Z31 owners at future club meetings and club functions.

I'm glad I turned up. I got introduced to Brian, and I probably talked his ear off with questions. It was great to see Tony there too. I think we were the last to leave, around 12'ish.

I noticed ZDRFTR's Z31 which was white at the last meet is now crimson? Or is that pink? Nice paint job.

My Z still looks like it got dragged out of a Bayou swamp, but the next couple months should start to see some decent changes. It's tax time! Yeeeah buddy!!

Wish I could've made it but I got sick that morning with the flu. Didn't feel like infecting y'all.

Sorry guys. The last few weeks just been very hectic with work and all. It's pretty much taken up most of my free time. Hopefully I'll be back in Z rythm in January.

I'm off to the land Down Under on Christmas Eve, so unfortunately I'm not gonna be able to make it to the next Z meet.

My 2+2 is still down with a water leak. Max Ramirez is supposed to come to my house this week-end to check it out and hopefully fix it. I think it is the water pump again

This morning when getting ready to go to work, fired up the TT and all was o.k. for 15 seconds, then she started running really rough. Felt like it was only running on 3 cylinders and my check MyISAM light came on. So, I did'nt drive it to work today.

Wasn't able to check anthing out other than to check if any wires were loose. Found nothing. Sucks

With my work schedule, putting in 11.5 hours a day because of drive time, don't know if I'll be able to do any trouble shooting before the meeting.

So, I'll proably be there in the wife's LHS Chrysler or the old Ford Escort.

Well, I didn't make that last meeting - worked late at the day job and couldn't get down there

Both my Zs have been down for the past month. My TT sprunk a leak in the heater core - that's going to be a hell of a job to fix.

My 1990 NA sprung a water leak a month ago and never could figure where it was coming from. There was one stubborn bolt on the left side timing belt cover I couldn't get off. Got some help this last week-end from a kid who works for the local Nissan Dealer here in Victorville. He got it off. Turns out it was my water pump (again). Just replaced it in Sept. I won't name who fixed it last time (I just watched and helped a little), but he left part of the old gasket on the MyISAM block - that's why it started leaking so soon. Sucks to do that job twice in 6 months.

Anyway, my NA is back on the road, so I hope to make this month's meeting on March 2nd.

Hey Whats up I joined this forum about a month ago? Somewhere around their. Just wanted to say hi. I have a Z31. Not a ton of free time but I want to get to know some other Z owners, since I havent been in Cali long I dont know where any good shops are i.e. paint shops, body shops, custom shops. Back home its usually a guy in a garage who's price you cant beat and has been doing it for years. But thats good ol' muscle cars for ya. First Forien car i've ever had so I want to enjoy the experience and learn at the same time. I have pleanty of hands on in the V8 aspect of things going threw my teen years. So im sure this wont be too far off. Im a do yourselfer and always have questions.... so be prepared. Still need to register my Z and that sort then i'll be hitting you guys up to see where I can fit in. Im in Oceanside, dont know where you guys mainly carry your meetings and such. But wouldnt mind making a trip or two as long as old glory can handle it. Thanks for your time. And The great forum. I try to promote this site to other Southern Z's but I guess others forums dont like that and usually remove them rather quickly. Im going to bed Later guys

Nice meeting tonight. Weather was a little cool and overcast but tolerable.

We had 22 Z cars show up tonight and Fred's GTR. We had a guy that dropped by who is from the Netherlands (sorry I didn't catch his name) and Charles Park of Powertrix showed up, as usual. Charles drives up from San Diego for every meeting.

Alex from TekOneAutoworks.com dropped by and informed everyone that he has a Repair, Fabrication & Performance shop in Riverside. Very interesting talking to him, sounds like he knows his stuff.

We talked about the upcoming 11th Annual Mountain Cruise (Big Bear) and other events coming up this year for Empire Z.

For the next couple of meetings I will be selling Girl Scout Cookies for my granddaughter to help her reach goals within the Girl Scouts. They are $5.00 per box. Your support would be appreciated. . . . and THEY ARE VERY GOOD!!
